Darius Jager is a songwriter, musician, and music and culture critic from New Jersey who knows the Bowery better than most of the Great Hoboes combined. His latest piece of hobo contribution is his poetry:
Rebecca Blake Schwartz is a well-traveled poet, currently based outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She is an astute writer of the human condition, providing deep emotion often softened by a nod and a wink. Ms. Title has been generous enough to share the following pieces with us:
Rosalina "Rosie" Valdez - Rosie is an exciting young poet, currently living in California. Her pieces address a number of social issues and questions of scruples.
Christine Bayeux is a poet from Northern New Jersey whose work is influenced by Colette, Sylvia Plath, contemporary American poets, greek mythology, and her extreme sensitivity to the world and her experiences trudging through its trenches. She is a recent graduate of Rutgers University where she earned a B.A. in English and is currently seeking her teaching certification through fieldwork at a charter school in New Jersey. Ms. Bayeux has published the following poems in the pages of the Great Hoboes:
