Context is all: The unknown hobo is a man of a certain age - a pre-boomer. He recently accompanied two generation-x friends on a pub crawl through the heart of hobo country. These two, well aware of his political leanings, planned to draw him into a discussion of the ongoing Amiri Baraka controversy in New Jersey. Somehow the plot was hatched prematurely; that is, before the unknown took on sufficient beer. He did not mount his soapbox for a cathartic, good-natured rant and rage. The following doggerel is his way of saying thanks for a great evening-night-early morning.

Hipsters and cool chicks knew it.
All the Beats were well aware.
But, the two of you blew it.
You're cubes, too very square,
To know the significance of the date.
Amiri Baraka is sixty-eight.
