9 - Arnhem
Not passing through Arnhem, I am thinking of the many battles which were fought near there. Some places are unlucky. But because of those historical episodes, we who have never passed through the Arnhems at least know of the Arnhems. Places blessed with peace are relegated to obscurity. Arnhem, Dieppe, Diem Bien Phu, and Gettysburg. Arnhems. Places which exist only in history textbooks.See Features for Previous Journal Entries.
