Comic Books at Five Pointz

Julio's back with more photos of NYC's graffiti. He took dozens of photos at Five Pointz, recently. For those unawares, the Phun Factory is a building covered in graff in Long Island City, Queens. It used to be called the Phun Factory but it's now known as Five Pointz since the goal is to bring writers from all five boros to one central place where they can meet other writers and show their works. Up and coming artists paint murals or do throw ups on this gigantic building. Anyone interested in painting there needs to get a permit from Meres (the current art director) and he gives out spots based on your level of expertise. He can be contacted at MeresOne@aol.com.
